The sports events in Alto Garda not to be missed

Bike Festival Garda Trentino
Definitely the event that all MTB lovers are waiting for. From 29 April to 1 May, athletes from all over Europe will meet in Riva del Garda for three days dedicated to their passion. But the initiative will not only host races and competitions of all kinds, from classic enduro to MTB with e-bike, but also a trade fair where all the big brands from the world of bikes will be present to present all the novelties and let people try out their products.


Tour Transalp
From 19 to 25 June the 18th edition of the Tour Transalp road race returns. This is Europe's most famous and spectacular bike race, thanks to the truly breathtaking views it offers. This year the race starts in Passo Resia, on the border between Italy and Austria, and ends after seven stages in Arco, 5 km from our hotel.


Bike Transalp
The sister of the Tour Transalp for MTB enthusiasts. The dates to mark are 3-9 July: a week in which riders from all over the world compete over 500 kilometres in a truly special setting. It starts in Lienz and arrives in Riva del Garda for a competition that promises to be a spectacle of nature on two wheels, literally, that every enthusiast should not miss.

Lake Garda Marathon
The Garda running race that crosses Brescia, Trento and Verona, also passing through Torbole, just 400 metres from our hotel, is back. The Lake Garda Marathon takes place on 2 and 3 April and includes three routes: the main 42 km route, the 21 km half marathon and the Lake Garda Kids Run dedicated to young runners from 5 to 12 years old. It is sure to be a weekend of fun for all running enthusiasts and not only: an area dedicated to toasts and celebrations awaits competitors at the finish line.


Garda Trentino Trail
The international event that all runners await takes place over the weekend of 14 and 15 May. Four routes of different lengths cross the Upper Garda region and offer great emotions to athletes and spectators alike, welcomed by the most authentic nature of our wonderful areas. The Expo area is concentrated in the historic centre of Arco, an area that has earned the title of outdoor capital over the years.


CUET, Comano Ursus Extreme Trail
This is a running competition hosted in the areas of the "Alpi Ledrensi & Judicaria" Biosphere Reserve, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Departure and arrival are set near Passo Durone, in Bleggio Superiore, with a 28 km loop route for 2200 m D+, designed by Comano Mountain Runners to test and entertain all fans. An unmissable event dedicated to those who love difficult terrain and wild trails and scheduled for Saturday 18 June.

The Alto Garda area, in particular Nago and Arco, has always offered crags, historical routes and climbing gyms that provide fun and adrenaline for those who practice this discipline. Arco, just 8 minutes by car from our hotel, will host the Rocket Master, an event eagerly awaited by all those who love climbing and which will take place on 19 July. The world competition, which has been held for over 30 years, features climbers of the highest level, divided into two categories: Ko Boulder Contest and RockMaster Duel. These are athletes who tackle extremely difficult walls, offering an unprecedented spectacle, with a truly suggestive backdrop offered by the mountains that plunge into the lake

Many coloured sails make the panorama of the Torbole, Riva and Arco areas even more evocative during the summer, thanks to international foil and sailing competitions. Here is the calendar of competitions:

Athletes, companions and sportsmen and women know very well how important it is to choose, during the days of competition, a structure designed to make the stay practical and relaxing.

Our hotel is within walking distance of the lake and the Torbole sports clubs and is just a few minutes' drive from Riva del Garda and Arco, the hub of many events. The hotel has a private car park, secure warehouses where athletes can safely store their equipment, a brand new wellness centre where you can relax after a day of sport and an in-house restaurant with delicious international dishes.
